Hanji Art Workshop

I host Hanji art workshops for team-building events, cultural events, corporate gatherings, schools, and community groups of all ages.

These hands-on workshops offer a unique cultural experience where participants learn about Hangul (Korean letters) while creating their own meaningful artwork. The process is intentionally approachable, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone—no art experience required.

  • Hanji art workshops are suitable for all ages and designed for a wide range of groups, including corporate teams, schools, community organizations, and private gatherings. Activities are adapted to suit the age, group size, and setting.

  • No prior art experience is required. The workshops are intentionally designed to be accessible, guided, and enjoyable for beginners while still engaging for those with creative experience.

  • Participants are introduced to Hangul, the Korean writing system, and learn about Hanji, traditional Korean paper. They then create a personalized artwork incorporating meaningful words or messages in Korean.

  • Workshops typically run between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the group size, age range, and event goals. Timing can be customized.

  • Group size varies depending on the venue and format. Please get in touch to discuss your specific needs and I’ll recommend the best setup.

  • Yes. All necessary materials, including Hanji paper and art supplies, are provided.

  • Absolutely. Workshops can be tailored for team-building objectives, cultural education, mental wellness themes, or special events. Custom words, themes, or messages can be incorporated.

  • Workshops can be held at your location or a mutually agreed-upon venue. I’m happy to discuss logistics and space requirements.
